Best Practices for Importing Cell/UE CSV Files When Using Cell/UE Templates

When importing Cell/UE CSV files, some columns can be left empty. In such cases, the system automatically applies the parameter values from the active Cell/UE template.

However, each Cell/UE is associated with a specific radio equipment, and the active Cell/UE template is also linked to a radio equipment. If the Cell/UE being imported is linked to a different radio equipment than the radio equipment defined in the active Cell/UE template, the default values applied may be incorrect.

To prevent configuration errors, follow one of these approaches:

Option 1 — Fill All Parameters Manually
Ensure that all columns in the CSV file are populated. This avoids inheriting values from an unrelated active Cell/UE template.

Option 2 — Import by Cell Template

  1. Separate your CSV files based on different cell/UE templates they correspond to.

  2. Activate the appropriate cell/UE template before importing each CSV file.

Following these practices ensures that Cells/UEs receive the correct parameter values and helps maintain configuration accuracy.
